North Korea has rejected the FBI's statement that North Korean hackers were behind the theft from Binance, calling it an 'absurd fabrication' in a statement by Kim Yo-jong carried by the state news agency KCNA, according to Yonhap and Bloomberg. The statement calls the attribution a political provocation and suggests it could affect dialogue between North Korea and the United States. The FBI said on 31 October that North Korea's TraderTraitor was responsible and published addresses linked to the stolen funds; the denial is North Korea's position, not a new finding.
