During Nordic Tech Week in Stockholm, Blockchain Sweden held a tokenisation roundtable and the Blockathon hackathon reached its final, putting blockchain on the week's agenda. About 30 people, including banks, infrastructure firms, lawyers and Finansinspektionen, met on 9 September at Eversheds Sutherland. The question on the table was what it would take for one large Swedish financial institution to run tokenised securities in ordinary operations by the end of 2027, not as a pilot. The next day Blockathon was on the main stage in Kungsträdgården.
