About this event

Who was Richard Cantillon? Is his theory of money still relevant nearly 300 years after he died? Cantillon's main work, Essai sur la nature du commerce en général, was published in Paris in 1755, about twenty years after he was probably murdered in London. Intelligent life after death: slowly but surely, Cantillon's theory of money in particular is mentioned and cited more and more often, not least in the international bitcoin community. What does the theory say? Does Cantillon have something to teach us about money and monetary policy?
