Kvarn denies the Goobit deal is an agency or outsourcing arrangement

Kvarn Capital says its partnership with Sweden's Goobit, announced when Goobit launched the Futureproof savings app, is neither a MiCA agency nor outsourcing. Co-founder Joonas Järvinen says no regulated function is delegated: customers contract directly with Kvarn, which stays the licensed provider and keeps the regulatory responsibility. Goobit was refused its own Swedish MiCA application on 2 July and has appealed. Kvarn points to a European Commission answer on agents and to article 73 on outsourcing.
