GreenMerc cuts SEK 4.8 million a year as Northcrypto turns a profit
Original title (Norwegian): GreenMerc kutter 4,8 millioner i året – Northcrypto går med overskudd
Swedish listed group GreenMerc is cutting running costs by about SEK 400,000 a month, roughly SEK 4.8 million a year, with the full effect from October. Subsidiary Northcrypto, which now runs Swedish Trijo customers on its MiCA-licensed platform, posted an operating profit in July and August, and the freed-up money is going to the Trijo One banking offer. First-half EBITDA was about minus SEK 3.0 million, of which about SEK 0.7 million was a one-off MiCA and restructuring cost, and management has lent the group SEK 1 million. The company says customer service, compliance and systems development are not part of the cuts.
