The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published a call for evidence on the tokenisation of collateral posted to central counterparties (CCPs). ESMA wants to understand how tokenisation would affect the collateral CCPs collect and to gather information for deciding whether it needs to act. Stakeholders can respond until 15 January 2027. Norway's Finanstilsynet, which reported on the call, says it wants to hear about matters that are important for the Norwegian market.
